The agreement was signed at Al Diwan Al Amiri by Sheikh Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mualla, Managing Director of Umm Al Quwain Properties, and PNC Menon, Chairman and Founder of Sobha Group, in the presence of HH Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain.
The project will prioritize the protection of natural wildlife and archaeological sites. With its rich biodiversity, diverse flora and fauna, dense mangroves, and abundant wildlife and marine life, the island promises an exceptional lifestyle amidst nature.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Sheikh Rashid reaffirmed Umm Al Quwain’s commitment to sustainable development, emphasizing the preservation of natural heritage and promoting growth. He highlighted that the partnership with Sobha Realty embodies the government's vision to integrate contemporary amenities into Umm Al Quwain’s pristine natural environment.
Sheikh Rashid noted that Al Siniya Island will not only offer a luxurious and peaceful lifestyle but also showcase the island’s rich biodiversity and historical significance. "We look forward to the completion of this seminal project, which is poised to enhance the prosperity of our community," he added.
On the strategic partnership, PNC Menon commented, “For us at Sobha Realty, developing a project of this magnitude marks a remarkable milestone in our journey, highlighting our steadfast dedication to innovation, sustainability, and luxury.” He emphasized their goal to transform the natural sanctuary into an uber-luxe destination that blends modern luxury with the island’s rich biodiversity and historical heritage.
Group Co-chairman Ravi Menon added, “The project will combine luxury living with the peaceful environment of the island, surrounded by the tranquil blue waters of the Arabian Gulf and lush, unpolluted landscapes. Siniya Island offers residents an exceptional opportunity to enjoy a luxurious lifestyle with modern amenities and efficient solutions, reflecting Sobha Realty’s commitment to innovation and sustainable development.”
Managing Director Francis Alfred stated, “Sobha Siniya Island, our first venture outside Dubai, aims to provide an integrated modern lifestyle set amidst the nature and history of the island. We believe this project will set a new benchmark in the UAE’s luxury real estate segment through its combination of a peaceful environment, luxury, and environmental responsibility.”
“Sobha Realty strives to offer living spaces that exceed customer expectations while ensuring the preservation of the environment and rich heritage of the island,” he added.
Situated near Al Marjan Island, the project will offer uninterrupted connectivity via a motorized causeway bridge, facilitating maritime travel along the Arabian Gulf coast. Alfred emphasized, “The project’s strategic location in relation to important landmarks increases its appeal as a regional destination.”
