Sheikh Saif expressed great interest in these technologies, noting how they could help modernize traditional practices while still respecting the UAE’s long-standing customs. The visit highlighted the harmonious balance between heritage and innovation that ADIHEX continues to promote.
One of the key aspects that Sheikh Saif appreciated during his visit was the exhibition’s role in preserving Emirati heritage. ADIHEX 2025, much like its previous editions, served as a platform for showcasing the rich traditions of the UAE, including falconry, camel racing, horse riding, and traditional hunting practices. These cultural elements are deeply rooted in Emirati history, representing skills and practices that have been passed down through generations.
His Highness emphasized the importance of ensuring that future generations continue to learn and value these traditions. By bringing together both local and international visitors, ADIHEX provides a unique opportunity for younger Emiratis to witness and participate in these time-honored activities. This ensures that the UAE’s cultural heritage remains alive and continues to thrive alongside modern developments.
Beyond preserving heritage, ADIHEX 2025 also served as a global platform for innovation and progress. Many exhibitors showcased advanced products, smart equipment, and innovative solutions that aim to improve hunting, equestrian sports, and animal care. Sheikh Saif highlighted how such events encourage knowledge exchange, connecting Emirati experts with their international counterparts.
By integrating AI and other technological solutions, ADIHEX not only celebrates tradition but also supports progress in sustainable hunting, better animal care, and more efficient management of equestrian facilities. This fusion of tradition and technology reflects the UAE’s broader vision of being a leader in both cultural preservation and modern innovation.
Equestrian sports have always held a special place in Emirati culture. Sheikh Saif took particular interest in the equestrian section of the exhibition, which included horses bred and trained in the UAE as well as advanced training equipment from international experts. AI applications in equestrianism, such as smart tracking of horse performance, health monitoring, and automated training tools, were among the highlights.
These technologies help improve the performance and care of horses while ensuring that the traditional values of horsemanship are respected. Sheikh Saif noted that such initiatives are vital in helping young riders learn advanced techniques while remaining connected to their cultural roots.
Hunting, another core element of ADIHEX, was also presented with a focus on sustainability and ethical practices. Exhibitors showcased modern hunting equipment, wildlife conservation tools, and AI-assisted tracking systems that help hunters maintain a balance with nature.
Sheikh Saif’s visit underlined the UAE’s commitment to promoting responsible hunting practices. By combining traditional hunting skills with modern technology, the UAE aims to protect wildlife and ensure that hunting remains a sustainable activity for future generations.
In addition to technology and sports, ADIHEX 2025 also highlighted traditional Emirati craftsmanship. Handcrafted items such as saddles, leather goods, falconry equipment, and decorative items were displayed alongside modern innovations. His Highness appreciated the skill, precision, and artistry involved in these crafts, noting that they reflect the rich culture and history of the UAE.
By providing a space for artisans to display their work, ADIHEX helps preserve these important crafts and allows visitors to connect with the heritage in a meaningful way. This combination of culture, tradition, and modern innovation creates a unique experience for all attendees.
Sheikh Saif’s visit also carried an important message for young Emiratis. By witnessing the exhibition, students, young hunters, and equestrian enthusiasts were encouraged to explore opportunities in these fields while respecting their traditions. His Highness highlighted the importance of learning both modern techniques and traditional skills, ensuring that the UAE’s heritage continues to thrive in the modern era.
Through initiatives like ADIHEX, the UAE demonstrates that it is possible to embrace progress without losing sight of cultural identity. This approach not only strengthens national pride but also inspires a new generation of innovators, riders, hunters, and artisans.
The 22nd edition of ADIHEX 2025 proved once again to be a significant event for the UAE and the wider region. By blending traditional Emirati culture with modern technologies, the exhibition provides a platform that celebrates the country’s heritage while encouraging innovation and progress.
Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit highlighted the importance of such events in promoting cultural preservation, ethical hunting, advanced equestrian practices, and technological innovation. His engagement with the exhibition reflects the UAE’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding its traditions while embracing the possibilities of the future.
ADIHEX 2025 stands as a testament to the UAE’s ability to honor its past while looking forward to a future where tradition and technology coexist harmoniously, inspiring generations to come.
