Dubai’s Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, recently visited India for the first time on an official trip. During his visit to Mumbai, he met with Jay Shah, the Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC), as well as some of India’s top cricketers.
Sheikh Hamdan also met with Rohit Sharma, the captain of India’s Test and One Day International (ODI) teams, along with famous players Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav.
In the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan talked about how the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is working hard to support and grow sports around the world. He said the UAE wants to build strong partnerships with other countries and become a top place for international sports events.
