Sharjah Ruler Honours Emirates Islamic Bank Team

Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, welcomed a top delegation from Emirates Islamic Bank on Wednesday at the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah. The delegation was led by Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

During the meeting, His Highness praised the Bank for its strong support to the Academy’s research and scientific projects. He said that such efforts help serve the Holy Quran and encourage scholars and students to continue their work. He also noted that the Bank’s cooperation with government institutions is a great example of how teamwork can help society grow.

To honour their contribution, His Highness presented awards to the Bank’s delegation and posed for commemorative photographs with them.

The delegation thanked His Highness for his constant support of the banking sector and his continuous guidance, which, they said, plays a key role in development. They also praised his unmatched efforts in serving the Holy Quran and in supporting researchers, postgraduate students, and Quranic studies.

The partnership between Emirates Islamic Bank and the Holy Quran Academy focuses on three main pillars:

• Sharjah International eMaqraa for online Quran learning

• Scientific studies and research to spread Quranic knowledge

• Quranic museums to preserve Islamic heritage

The Academy is also working on creating encyclopaedias of Quranic exegesis, developing study materials for Quranic readings, and organising symposiums on Quranic interpretation.

Through these projects, the Academy aims to uncover the treasures of Quranic sciences and share them with the world. With the help of Emirates Islamic Bank, the Academy is making great progress in strengthening Islamic values, supporting young talent, and promoting sustainable community growth.
