Sharjah Hosts 2nd Mass Wedding for 1,100 Couples in Grand Event

Sharjah witnessed a heartwarming celebration of love and unity on Thursday as 1,100 couples from across the UAE came together in the Emirate’s second mass wedding ceremony. The grand event, organised by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, was held at Al Bayt Mitwahid Hall in the Al Rahmaniyah suburb.

Sheikh Dr Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler's Office, graced the occasion, personally welcoming the newlyweds and extending his wishes for prosperous, joyful lives. He emphasized that strong and united families are the backbone of personal and societal success.

The ceremony featured lively performances by folk and national groups, presenting traditional songs that reflected Emirati heritage and celebrated the joyous beginnings of these families. The music, dance, and vibrant atmosphere highlighted both national pride and the intimate moments of the couples starting their lives together.

As the event concluded, Sheikh Dr Salem posed for photos with the newlyweds, who expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support and recognition.
