The Saudi Ministry of Interior has made updates to the fees on the Absher Business platform, which provides services to businesses and employers in Saudi Arabia. According to Okaz newspaper, these changes affect seven different services that businesses use to manage workers and related paperwork.

One of the major changes is the new fee for extending an exit and reentry visa, which is now set at SR103.5. The renewal fees for the residency permit (Iqama) and the final exit visa have also been adjusted. The new fee for renewing an Iqama is SR51.75, while the fee for a final exit visa is SR70.
Additionally, there is an updated fee for issuing an Iqama, which is now also SR51.75. Businesses will now pay SR28.75 for requesting an employee report, and the fee to update passport information for expatriates has been set at SR69.
Absher Business clarified that these updated fees apply to extra value-added services available through the platform. These fees are not part of the regular annual package that employers already pay for through Absher.
In addition to these changes, Absher has introduced new services. One of the newest services allows host individuals to report cases of absconding for visitors who entered Saudi Arabia on a visitor visa. Absher has set up five conditions for submitting such a report. First, the visitor’s visa must be a personal or family visit visa. A report can only be filed after seven days after the visa's expiration, and it cannot be submitted more than 14 days after the visa expires. Each visitor can only have one absconding report filed, and once submitted, it cannot be canceled.
These changes aim to streamline services and make the Absher platform more efficient for users while ensuring that all fees are clear and transparent.
