Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially resumed operations on four dedicated bus routes serving Global Village, signaling the commencement of its 29th season for 2024–2025. This initiative is part of RTA’s commitment to facilitating convenient transportation for visitors to one of Dubai’s most popular attractions.
The newly resumed bus routes connecting to Global Village are as follows:
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable transit experience, RTA has deployed coach buses on these routes, catering to families and visitors traveling to and from Global Village.
In the previous season (2023–2024), RTA's Global Village bus service recorded a significant increase in ridership, serving a total of 573,759 passengers. This marks a notable rise from the 448,716 passengers served in the 2022–2023 season, reflecting a 22% increase in usage of the service.

In addition to the bus routes, RTA has also reinstated its popular tourist abra services within Global Village for the 2024–2025 season. Two electric-powered abras have been deployed to offer guests an enjoyable and unique mode of transport throughout the season.
RTA has been committed to providing abra services at the beginning of each Global Village season, as the service has consistently drawn interest from visitors. This mode of transport not only enhances the tourism experience but also offers a blend of comfort and enjoyment, making it a favored choice among guests exploring the vibrant atmosphere of Global Village.
With these efforts, RTA aims to further enrich the experience for visitors, ensuring they have safe, convenient, and memorable journeys to and from one of Dubai's premier destinations.
