Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. has announced that it will open a new, advanced Engineering Center in Abu Dhabi. This center will focus on creating new technologies and leading innovations in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Qualcomm Engineering Center will be part of Qualcomm’s global network of engineering hubs. It will work on the latest technology in areas like industrial Internet of Things (IoT), AI, and data center solutions. These technologies will help meet the growing need for fast and powerful connectivity, energy-saving computing, and smart systems, both in Abu Dhabi and around the world.

The new center will also work together with local and international companies based in Abu Dhabi. This collaboration will support important projects in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The center will add to Qualcomm’s global engineering strength to create products and services that fit the needs of major industries. These industries include energy, manufacturing, logistics, retail, and smart mobility. All of these sectors are important for helping the economy grow.
His Excellency Badr Al-Olama, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, said, “Abu Dhabi is preparing for the future by building strong research centers, good infrastructure, and attracting top talent. The Qualcomm Engineering Center will bring new advances in IoT, AI, and data technology that can be used in important industries. This will help solve complex problems on a global level with the support of Abu Dhabi’s excellent ecosystem.
