PureHealth has changed the name of its Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) to SEHA CLINICS, in line with its role as the main provider of primary care in Abu Dhabi. This change also fits with the UAE’s announcement of 2025 as the Year of Community. The rebranding shows their goal to improve the health and well-being of communities by offering accessible, high-quality healthcare.

As part of this change, SEHA CLINICS will now become fully part of SEHA, which is a subsidiary of PureHealth. This move will make it easier for people to access primary care and make sure that patients in Abu Dhabi get better, more flexible, and accessible healthcare services. The rebranding affects 34 SEHA CLINICS across Abu Dhabi, and there are plans to open 10 new clinics in 2025 to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community.
Shaista Asif, Group CEO at PureHealth, shared her thoughts: "Rebranding to SEHA CLINICS is part of a long history of providing care that has helped millions of people across Abu Dhabi. SEHA CLINICS represents our commitment to offering top-quality, accessible healthcare in all parts of Abu Dhabi, making our communities healthier and happier. In 2024 alone, SEHA CLINICS helped over 3.5 million patients, showing how important it is to community healthcare. As we move forward, we will continue to meet the needs of our communities and support the UAE’s 2025 Year of Community vision, helping strengthen community connections and improve the health of all the people in the UAE.”
Dr. Asma Al Halaseh, CEO of SEHA CLINICS, explained: “SEHA CLINICS has always been a trusted healthcare partner for the community, and we are always working to meet the changing needs of our patients. Today, people want more flexible, accessible care, and we provide that through longer hours, telemedicine, and a team of over 800 doctors in more than 20 specialties. With more clinics opening and the use of new technology, we are improving access to care, especially in areas that need it the most. We focus on providing care that is centered around the patient’s needs, helping both individuals and families, as well as supporting businesses and contributing to the overall health of Abu Dhabi’s communities.”
SEHA CLINICS plans to offer full healthcare for everyone in the family. For example, people can see specialists like pediatricians or cardiologists without needing to travel far. The clinics will also focus on prevention, offering regular check-ups and screenings to keep people healthy and reduce the impact of chronic diseases. With clinics spread out in residential areas, SEHA CLINICS is built to be both convenient and high-quality for patients. They also offer extended hours and are open on weekends to make healthcare more accessible to everyone.
In this way, SEHA CLINICS is working to make sure that everyone in Abu Dhabi can access healthcare that’s close to where they live and work while keeping their health at the forefront.
