PureHealth has shared some exciting news about their health app, Pura. Since it started in October 2023, more than 140,000 people have downloaded the app. Pura helps users live better by giving them tools and advice on how to improve their health. The app is easy to use and helps people take control of their well-being.

Recently, Pura added a new feature for people with diabetes. This feature lets users track their blood sugar levels in real-time and gives them meal plans made just for them. The app works with some devices that check blood sugar and connects to PureHealth’s Diabetes Command Centre. This helps doctors and health experts see patient information securely, making it easier to manage diabetes. What’s special about Pura is that it connects the digital app to real-life health services, which is rare in the UAE.

Pura works like a personal health assistant. It collects data from wearable devices to check things like blood sugar, heart health, and sleep. The app also gives users a "PureScore," a number that shows how healthy they are. This score helps people make better choices to improve their health.

To keep users motivated, Pura has fun challenges where they can earn FitCoins as rewards. These coins can be used for different lifestyle benefits. So far, users have earned over 5.7 million FitCoins, and many people have joined the challenges since the app launched.

The app is also connected to all hospitals and clinics in PureHealth’s network, making it easy for users to manage their health. They can book video calls or in-person visits with doctors, get medicine delivered to their home, and pay for services using their money or health insurance. For diabetes patients, there is a special plan that provides complete care. In the future, the app will also allow users to book home visits for routine health tests and offer even more features.

Shaista Asif, the CEO of PureHealth, said the company wants to add up to 25 more healthy years to the lives of people in the UAE over the next 50 years. She said that Pura helps people take control of their health by giving them easy access to their personal health data, helping everyone live healthier and happier lives.

Pura is a big step in making healthcare simple and easy for people. By giving users the tools to improve their health and connecting them to real healthcare services, PureHealth is helping people stay healthy and live better lives.
