During the event, President Trump spoke about his government’s work to bring peace to the Middle East. He also praised Muslims in America for their hard work and important contributions in areas like business, science, education, and public service.
Many important guests were present, including ambassadors from different countries. One special guest was Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the United States, Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz. President Trump greeted her warmly, calling her a remarkable lady, and said he was happy to meet her.
The iftar dinner followed a long tradition of White House Ramadan celebrations, where leaders, diplomats, and community members come together. The evening was filled with good discussions about world issues, as well as appreciation for the values of faith, family, and togetherness that Ramadan represents.
