Princess Reema bint Bandar, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States, attended President Donald Trump’s inauguration and the events that followed. She was there to represent Saudi Arabia.
During the inauguration, Princess Reema passed on greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. She congratulated President Trump on being re-elected and wished him success in his new term as president.

Princess Reema talked about the strong relationship between Saudi Arabia and the United States, which goes back almost 80 years. She reminded everyone that in February 1945, King Abdulaziz Al Saud, the founder of Saudi Arabia, met with President Franklin D. Roosevelt of the United States. This meeting helped start a strong bond between the two nations.
Princess Reema said that over the years, Saudi Arabia and the U.S. have worked together through many challenges. Their partnership has grown and has helped bring peace and security to the world. She also said that Saudi Arabia is excited to continue working with the United States, especially in dealing with the challenges in the Middle East.
She also talked about how the relationship between the two countries includes many areas, like politics, economy, and development. These strong ties help make the world a safer place and ensure the stability of both countries.
