Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Qais bin Mohammad Al-Yousef, recently spoke about the growing trade and economic relationship between Oman and Saudi Arabia. He highlighted how these ties reflect the strong and friendly bond between the two countries, especially in the context of Saudi Vision 2030 and Oman’s Vision 2040.

During a press conference organized by the Omani Ministry of Information, with the theme "Oman and the World," Al-Yousef explained that the joint projects between the two nations show how they are working together to improve economic cooperation. He pointed out that these efforts are particularly focused on areas like trade, regional economic development, energy, industry, technology, and tourism.

One of the key developments Al-Yousef mentioned was the opening of a land route that connects Saudi Arabia to Oman. This new route is a major step forward for bilateral trade and has made it easier for both companies and citizens to travel. It has also boosted tourism and improved communication between the two countries. The land route is helping both nations create stronger economic connections by building advanced infrastructure.

Al-Yousef emphasized that the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Oman is growing stronger in all areas, from trade to tourism, and that they are confident this cooperation will continue to bring long-term benefits for both countries. He praised Saudi Arabia’s efforts in developing its industrial sector and improving its logistical infrastructure, which opens up new opportunities for both countries to collaborate. He also noted that there are many opportunities for investment in large projects and industrial integration.

The recent visit by Saudi Arabia's Minister of Commerce, Majid Al-Kassabi, to Oman was another important step. During his visit, the two countries discussed plans for several new initiatives and projects, particularly in the industrial sector. Al-Yousef said that the cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Oman sets an example for Arab countries working together and that the future holds many chances to make these partnerships even stronger at every level.

In summary, the Omani Minister is confident that the ongoing collaboration between Oman and Saudi Arabia will continue to bring both countries closer and help them grow economically, socially, and in many other areas.
