Netflix has said that The Sandman will end after its second season. This show is based on Neil Gaiman’s famous comic book. The announcement comes after some women said that Neil Gaiman hurt them. Even though Netflix hasn’t said that the show is ending because of these claims, many people are wondering if it's connected.

The Show’s Future Was Unclear
Before the accusations, it wasn’t sure whether The Sandman would have a second season. Although it had many fans, Netflix wasn’t sure about making more episodes. They only called it a "continuation" instead of a full second season. There were also worries that not enough people were watching the show. If it didn’t get enough viewers, it might have been canceled. Now, because of everything that happened, it seems the fans won’t be able to change the outcome.

The Accusations Against Neil Gaiman
Nine women have said that Neil Gaiman hurt them, according to reports. Some say he acted in bad ways, and others claim the relationships were not agreed on. Gaiman has said he remembers some of these moments but denies doing anything wrong. These accusations are causing a big change not only for The Sandman but also for other projects Gaiman was working on.

Other Gaiman Projects Are Affected
Because of the accusations, other projects by Neil Gaiman are also facing problems. Amazon canceled a third season of Good Omens and will only show a short 90-minute episode without Gaiman. Disney+ has stopped working on The Graveyard Book, and a Coraline musical has been paused. This shows how the accusations are changing the direction of Gaiman’s work.

Problems with Making The Sandman
The second season of The Sandman was already delayed because of strikes in the entertainment industry. The second season doesn't have a set release date yet, but Netflix says it will come out in 2025. However, after the second season, the show will be over. Fans who wanted more seasons of The Sandman are now disappointed.

Saying Goodbye to The Sandman
Fans of The Sandman will be sad because the show is ending after the second season. The first season is still available to watch on Netflix, but the second season will be the last one. With the accusations against Neil Gaiman, the show won’t last as long as people hoped. Fans will have to say goodbye to the world of The Sandman sooner than they expected.
