National Guard Rescues 10 People from Burning Ship at Sea

On Thursday, April 24, 2025, the National Search and Rescue Center worked together with the National Guard Coast Guard Unit to rescue 10 people from a commercial ship that caught fire while out at sea.

As soon as the fire was reported, emergency teams moved quickly to help. They followed all safety rules to make sure the rescue operation went smoothly. The 10 people were safely taken off the ship, and luckily, no one was hurt.
