Munaf Patel, the former Indian cricketer and assistant coach of the Dubai Capitals, was pleased with the team’s performance. He said, “We had lost three games in a row, but today our bowlers did really well. The pitch conditions were just right for us when we bowled.”
After this win, the Dubai Capitals are ready to face the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in their next match at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. Patel said the win gave the team a boost of confidence. The Capitals are aiming to keep winning and move up in the tournament standings to secure a spot in the playoffs.
Patel talked about the team’s approach, saying, “We let our players play freely, whether it’s hitting boundaries or taking singles. We have trust in our batting lineup, knowing we have good batsmen still in the team. This win wasn’t just about ending their unbeaten run; it was about sticking to our plans.”
He also praised the bowlers, saying, “Our bowlers showed their skills today. The pitch was perfect for our style of bowling, and choosing to bowl first helped us win. The team showed great strength and bounce back from our past losses.”
This win is a big moment for the Dubai Capitals, and they are looking forward to their next matches in the tournament.
