Mohammed bin Rashid Holds Talks with Senior Emirates Airline and Group Officials

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, convened a significant meeting at Union House in Dubai with senior officials from Emirates Airline and Group. Joining him were His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, along with His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed praised Emirates Airline for its exceptional achievements, which have solidified its position as a global leader in the aviation industry and a model of excellence. He commended the airline for its pivotal role in enhancing Dubai's stature as a prominent business hub and a premier destination for investment and tourism. Sheikh Mohammed acknowledged Emirates' significant contributions to realizing Dubai's economic goals, particularly through initiatives like the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, aimed at doubling the emirate's foreign trade volume by 2033.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed briefed Sheikh Mohammed on Emirates' strategic plans and upcoming initiatives, including fleet expansion, aircraft modernization, advancements in hospitality, cargo, and ground handling services, and innovations in sustainability practices. Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, highlighted the Group's recent record-breaking financial performance, driven by global operational expansions and strong customer demand for its services.

Expressing confidence in Emirates' continued role in driving Dubai's economic growth, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the airline's commitment to maintaining high standards in global aviation and travel sectors. He praised Emirates' efforts in enhancing technical capabilities and workforce efficiency to uphold its competitive edge among leading global airlines.

The meeting concluded with a ceremonial photograph, where Sheikh Mohammed extended his best wishes to Emirates Airline and Group officials for their ongoing efforts towards achieving excellence and success in their responsibilities.
