His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended an important signing ceremony between the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) and three developers: Imtiaz Developments, SAMANA Developers, and Buimerc Corporation Ltd.

During the ceremony, agreements were signed for each developer to build an endowment building within MBRGI’s education complex in Dubai Academic City. These buildings will support the "Fathers’ Endowment" campaign, which was launched by Sheikh Mohammed in honor of fathers in the UAE. The aim of the campaign is to create a long-lasting fund to provide healthcare and treatment to those in need.

The "Fathers’ Endowment" campaign started during Ramadan and is focused on helping poor and needy people in the UAE by providing them with essential medical services. The goal is to set up hospitals, provide medical equipment, improve healthcare facilities, and enhance treatment services, especially for those who cannot afford it.

Mohammad Al Gergawi, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Secretary-General of MBRGI, signed the agreements with the CEOs of the three companies: Masih Imtiaz from Imtiaz Developments, Imran Farooq from SAMANA Developers, and Siddharth Balachandran from Buimerc Corporation Ltd. The total value of the endowment buildings will be AED 50 million from Imtiaz Developments, AED 40 million from SAMANA Developers, and AED 20 million from Buimerc Corporation Ltd.

The money generated from these buildings will be used to support the Fathers’ Endowment campaign and help improve healthcare services for people in need. This includes building new hospitals, buying medical equipment and medicines, expanding hospital spaces, and improving operating rooms to give better care to those who can't afford it.

Al Gergawi explained that the Fathers’ Endowment campaign reflects Sheikh Mohammed's vision for giving in a sustainable way. Sheikh Mohammed believes that philanthropy is one of the most important ways to create positive changes in society and help those who are less fortunate. Al Gergawi also emphasized that Ramadan campaigns are a key part of the UAE’s global leadership in humanitarian efforts, showing the country’s deep values of kindness and generosity.

"The agreements with Imtiaz Developments, SAMANA Developers, and Buimerc Corporation Ltd. show how philanthropists in the UAE support the country's giving culture. This is a reflection of the generosity seen in past Ramadan campaigns, where donations reached their goals very quickly. It shows that giving is a core value in Emirati culture," Al Gergawi said.

The Fathers' Endowment campaign is part of MBRGI's broader mission and honors fathers by allowing people to donate in their names. It supports values like respect for parents, compassion, and social solidarity, while also reinforcing the UAE’s role as a leader in global philanthropy. The campaign will help create a sustainable healthcare endowment to support those in need and strengthen the UAE's commitment to helping others around the world.

The campaign continues to accept donations from both individuals and organizations through various channels. People can donate through the campaign’s website, Fathersfund.ae, or by calling the campaign’s call center at 800 4999.

Donations can also be made through bank transfer to the campaign’s account at Emirates Islamic Bank (IBAN: AE020340003518492868201). Additionally, people can donate by texting the word "Father" to the following numbers: 1034 to donate AED 10, 1035 to donate AED 50, 1036 to donate AED 100, and 1038 to donate AED 500. These donations can be made by Etisalat by e& and du users.

Donations are also possible through the DubaiNow app under the ‘Donations’ tab or through Dubai’s community platform, Jood.ae.
