Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has started the sixth group of the MBZUAI Executive Program (MEP). This program has more than 40 senior leaders from both the government and private sectors in the UAE. The program lasts for 16 weeks and has already helped over 200 leaders in the past. It is designed to teach participants how to use new technology in their work to help grow their companies and improve the country.

The new group of participants comes from important areas like energy, transportation, health, education, culture, and real estate. Most of the people in this group are top executives, including government leaders, directors, CEOs, and senior managers. This shows how much the UAE values learning new skills in technology and is investing in the future.

This year, the program will teach the group about four main ideas: the big changes happening with new technology, the basics of using it, how it changes industries, and how to use it to make decisions and create rules. Participants will also visit important companies in the UAE that are using new technology in their work. They will also work together to come up with ideas and solutions to real-world problems.

Spring Fu, the Managing Director of The Academy at MBZUAI, said, “This program helps speed up changes in how industries work by teaching senior leaders how to use technology in their work. It helps them make better decisions, think creatively, and build a work culture where everyone understands how to use technology in their jobs. This program supports the UAE’s goal of creating more skilled workers and building a future where everyone benefits from new technology.”

The sessions will be led by well-known teachers from MBZUAI and other experts in the field. Some of these experts include Professor Eric Xing, the President of MBZUAI, Professor Sami Haddadin, a leader in the study of robots, and Professor Elizabeth Churchill, who studies how people interact with technology.

The program will also have guest speakers like Dawn Song, a professor from UC Berkeley, and Mona Diab, a professor at Heinz College. These experts will lead exciting and hands-on sessions, such as workshops, mini projects, and group discussions to help participants learn in a fun and active way.

The program focuses on teaching people how to use new technology in real-world situations. It will help participants understand how to use technology in different industries and create solutions to solve problems. At the end of the program, participants will complete a big project to show what they have learned. The program is updated often to make sure it stays relevant and up-to-date with the fast-changing world of technology.

By offering this program, MBZUAI is helping people gain skills in new technology, which will help them lead their companies and contribute to the country’s future development.
