A large explosion happened today at Rajaei Port in the city of Bandar Abbas, Iran. This terrible accident has caused the death of 8 people so far. Around 750 others have been hurt.
The explosion started a big fire among the containers at the port. The fire is still burning, and it has been hard to stop because of strong winds in the area.

Iran’s Minister of Interior said that emergency teams are working hard to control the fire and stop it from spreading to more places. Even though safety steps were taken, the wind is making it harder to put out the flames.
The injured people have been taken to nearby hospitals, and rescue teams are still at the scene.
