The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has started its first course for young students. This new study plan will teach students how smart machines work and how they can be used in daily life, business, and leadership. The course will help students learn about subjects like machines that can think, computers that understand human speech, cameras that can recognize faces, and robots. Along with these subjects, students will also learn about money, business, teamwork, and how to talk to people in a clear way. The main goal is to help students not just learn about machines but also how to use this knowledge in real life and solve problems in a smart way.

His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, the head of MBZUAI’s board, said that smart machines are changing how businesses and jobs work everywhere in the world. He added that the UAE wants to stay ahead in this field and help students become future leaders. The new course will help students use their knowledge to bring new ideas, improve businesses, and make life better for people. He also said that by learning deeply about this subject, students will help their country grow and make new inventions that can help many people around the world.
The course will also teach students important life skills like leadership, understanding money, and speaking in a clear way. A new way of learning will be used, where smart machines will also help students in their studies. This will help them think better, solve tough problems, and get ready for jobs in the future.
Students will study interesting topics like how machines learn from mistakes, how computers can be used in science, and how smart systems can create new ideas. They will also explore how smart machines can help in hospitals, protect nature, and create things like 3D pictures and virtual worlds. The course will give students a chance to work with experts and be part of real projects. They will learn from teams who have built some of the most powerful smart systems in the world, including MBZUAI’s famous Arabic language tool and another system that can do better work than some private company tools.
MBZUAI’s leader, Professor Eric Xing, said that this course is different because it does not only teach about machines but also about how to use this knowledge to build new businesses and solve real-life problems. He said that students will not just learn how to write computer codes, but they will also understand people, businesses, and the world better. He wants students to leave this course with confidence and the skills to lead new projects, start their own businesses, or help companies use smart machines in better ways. He also said that MBZUAI is not just teaching students but helping to create a new generation of smart workers who will make a big difference in the world.
The course is open to students from all countries and has two main choices. One path, called AI – Business, will teach students how to use smart machines to grow businesses. The other path, called AI – Engineering, will focus on building smart tools and using them in different industries. Students will also get a chance to do internships, work with experts, and take part in training programs with top companies.
With this new course, MBZUAI is making learning more exciting and useful. By mixing studies with real-world experience, the university hopes to prepare students for a future where they can use their knowledge to change industries and bring new ideas to life.
