His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council (DSC), today presented the awards to the winners of the 15th Globe Soccer Dubai Awards at a grand ceremony held at Atlantis, The Palm. The prestigious event took place in conjunction with the 19th Dubai International Sports Conference and celebrated the highest achievements in football, recognizing excellence across various categories including playing, coaching, and management within the global football community.

Among the standout winners was Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr, who was honored as the Best Player. The Brazilian winger’s extraordinary performances throughout the season earned him the recognition. In the coaching category, Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, was named Best Coach for his leadership in guiding the team to success. Portuguese football icon and Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo received multiple accolades, being awarded Best Middle East Player and Top Goal Scorer of All Time for his remarkable achievements in both regional and international football.

In addition to Vinicius Jr’s Best Player award, he also claimed the Best Forward title, further cementing his status as one of the top talents in the game. Jude Bellingham, the young English midfielder who has been making waves in the football world, walked away with two awards: Best Midfielder and the prestigious Maradona Award, acknowledging his exceptional skills and contribution to the sport. Spanish prodigy Lamine Yamal, who has taken the football scene by storm with FC Barcelona, was recognized as an Emerging Player, showcasing his immense potential at just a young age.

During the ceremony, HH Sheikh Mansoor expressed his heartfelt congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding achievements in the world of football. He praised their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to excellence, encouraging them to continue striving for greatness. The Sheikh also emphasized the role of sports in fostering unity, promoting cultural connections, and inspiring future generations. He urged the awardees to use their success as a platform to spread positive values, promote collaboration, and champion inclusivity on and off the field.

The ceremony was attended by several distinguished figures, including Khalfan Belhoul, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, and other officials from Dubai’s government departments. Representatives from global football clubs, organizations, and federations were also present to witness the celebration of excellence in football.

The event commenced with the presentation of the Dubai Globe Soccer Digital Awards, honoring digital achievements in the football industry.

Other notable awards presented at the ceremony included:

  • Alessandro Del Piero, the legendary Italian footballer and Juventus icon, was awarded the 50th Anniversary Career Award, recognizing his incredible career in professional football.
  • Neymar Jr., the Brazilian superstar now playing for Al Hilal SFC, was celebrated for his extraordinary flair and success at clubs like Barcelona and PSG.
  • Rio Ferdinand, the former Manchester United and England defender, was honored for his outstanding career in both club and international football.
  • Thibaut Courtois, the Belgian goalkeeper, received recognition for his heroic performances with Real Madrid and the Belgian national team.
  • Aitana Bonmati, the standout player from FC Barcelona and the Spain national team, was named the Best Women’s Player.
  • Al Ain Club of the UAE received the Best Club in the Middle East award, which was presented to Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club.
  • Jorge Mendes, representing the agency Gestifute, took home the Best Agent award for his contributions to the football industry.
  • Hugo Viana of Sporting CP received the Best Sporting Director award.
  • FC Barcelona was recognized as the Best Women's Club, while Real Madrid was named Best Men's Club.
  • Florentino Perez, the Chairman of Real Madrid, was awarded the Best President title for his leadership in the club’s continued success.

This remarkable evening celebrated the world’s finest football talents and highlighted the achievements of individuals and teams who have left an indelible mark on the sport, reinforcing the Globe Soccer Dubai Awards as one of the most prestigious events in international football.
