Dubai Police Apprehend Two in Major Drug Operation in Batinah

In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, Dubai authorities have detained two suspects in South Al Batinah, enhancing their anti-narcotics efforts throughout the area.

This operation was conducted by the Department of Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances from the South Al Batinah Governorate Police. The apprehended individuals, confirmed to be Asian nationals, were arrested after detailed intelligence gathering and surveillance.

During the operation, law enforcement seized a substantial cache of illegal substances from the suspects. The confiscated items included marijuana, crystal methamphetamine, hashish, and psychotropic tablets, all reportedly intended for distribution and personal use.

Officials noted that this seizure underscores ongoing initiatives to counteract the proliferation of narcotics, aiming to safeguard communities from the perils of drug abuse and illicit trafficking. The volume of drugs confiscated suggests a well-organized effort to distribute these substances within the locality.

Separately, the South Al Sharqiyah Police Command has also detained another Asian national for the illegal possession of significant quantities of alcohol intended for sale.
