Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who leads the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), went to a special event hosted by the Consulate General of Qatar in Dubai. The event took place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel to celebrate Qatar National Day.
When Sheikha Latifa arrived, she was greeted by His Excellency Saeed bin Ali Al Hajri, the Consul General of Qatar in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Sheikha Latifa shared the congratulations of the UAE’s leaders, government, and people with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, and the people of Qatar. She emphasized the strong and friendly relationship between the UAE and Qatar and wished for Qatar’s continued success and growth under its wise leadership.

The event was also attended by many important people from the UAE government, such as His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Her Excellency Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future; Her Excellency Maryam Al Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary General of the UAE Cabinet; and His Excellency Major General Talal Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Director-General of the State Security Department in Dubai.
Other key figures at the event included His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police; His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA); His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai; His Excellency Essa Kazim, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC); and His Excellency Mohammad Ali Rashid Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers.
The reception was also attended by members of other Arab and foreign consulates in Dubai, along with members of the Qatari community living in the UAE. The event was a great way to celebrate Qatar National Day in Dubai.
