The team, along with the director of the Health Office in Lahij and other officials from the institute, toured different parts of the institute. They looked at the classrooms, offices, and student housing. The work includes putting in new office furniture, medical supplies, and equipment for the education of students. The new equipment will be for departments such as dentistry, midwifery, nursing, and pharmacy.
The goal of this work is to make the Health Institute a better place for training healthcare workers. The institute will help prepare people to work in hospitals by giving them the right tools and skills they need.
This project is part of Saudi Arabia's support for Yemen. Through KSrelief, Saudi Arabia is helping to improve important parts of the country like healthcare and education. The project will help the people of Yemen by creating more trained healthcare workers to improve the medical services in the country.
