The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre in Abu Dhabi finished the 5th part of its special program called Jusoor. This happened as the UAE named 2025 the "Year of Community", which means a year to bring people closer.

Jusoor started in 2019. The word “Jusoor” means “bridges” in Arabic. The program invites people from many countries, religions, and cultures to visit the mosque. They learn about each other, share food, and talk about life and values. The goal is to help people understand one another and live together in peace.
This idea came from the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed. He always wanted people to live with respect, love, and kindness. The mosque continues to follow his dream by sharing these values with others.
Dr. Yousef Al Obaidli, who is the Director-General of the mosque, said that when people from different places talk and meet face to face, they start to understand each other better. He said that people around the world have more things in common than they think. Talking in a calm, peaceful place like the mosque helps people learn about the real message of Islam, which is kindness, honesty, friendship, and living together in peace.
This 5th edition of Jusoor had 13 meetings. A total of 1,231 people joined. They came from 13 embassies and many offices in the UAE. The mosque's staff also joined. Everyone shared their stories, meals, and culture.
The program is more than just being in the same room. It helps people become friends, talk openly, and respect each other’s beliefs. By doing this, Jusoor teaches everyone the true values of Islam: love, unity, care, and understanding.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre hopes to keep building bridges between hearts and minds, one talk and one meal at a time.
