Jessica Capshaw Lost White Lotus Role to Leslie Bibb

Jessica Capshaw, who is best known for playing Dr. Arizona Robbins in Grey’s Anatomy, recently talked about trying out for a role in the popular show The White Lotus. She said she wanted to play a character named Kate Bohr in Season 3. But the part was given to another actress, Leslie Bibb.

Jessica shared her story during a podcast called Call It What It Is. She said she was very happy and full of excitement when she went for the audition because she really likes the show.

“I auditioned for Leslie Bibb’s role,” Jessica said. “I was so excited to be there. I’m a big fan of the show.”

Even though she didn’t get the part, she said Leslie Bibb did a great job and she enjoyed watching her in the show. Jessica said, “Watching Leslie, I thought, ‘Wow, she’s amazing.’”

Jessica was talking to her old co-star from Grey’s Anatomy, Camilla Luddington. She also said that she enjoys going to auditions because it’s fun for her. “I like auditioning,” Jessica said. “It’s fun to see what might happen. Everyone acts in a different way, and that makes the casting process interesting.”

Jessica didn’t get her role in Grey’s Anatomy on the first try either. She tried many times before she was finally picked to play Dr. Arizona Robbins in 2009. Now, she hopes that she can still be part of The White Lotus one day.

The role of Kate Bohr in The White Lotus is about a woman who goes on a trip with a group of friends. The group also includes characters played by Carrie Coon and Michelle Monaghan.
