The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism have shared exciting news. Tickets for the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2025 presented by ADQ are now available for everyone.
These special games will have the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers playing preseason matches on October 2 and October 4. The games will happen at Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
The New York Knicks team includes two-time NBA All-Star Jalen Brunson, five-time NBA All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns, and Mikal Bridges, who was in the 2022 NBA All-Defensive First Team. Bridges and Brunson have already played in Abu Dhabi before, when they came as part of the USA Basketball Men’s National Team before the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. Towns has also played here in 2023 with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Philadelphia 76ers team includes Joel Embiid, who was the 2023 NBA Most Valuable Player and is a seven-time NBA All-Star. It also has nine-time NBA All-Star Paul George and Tyrese Maxey, who was a 2024 NBA All-Star. Embiid has played in Abu Dhabi before too, as part of the USA Basketball team before the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
People in the UAE, the Middle East, and fans around the world in over 200 countries will be able to watch these games live on TV, online, and on social media.
These NBA Abu Dhabi Games are part of a big partnership between the NBA and Abu Dhabi’s tourism department. This partnership includes NBA Global Games, youth development programmes that have helped nearly 20,000 kids since 2022, and fun fan events with current and former NBA and WNBA players. They also organise NBA Cares clinics to promote health and wellness.
This partnership makes Abu Dhabi the Official Tourism Destination Partner of the NBA in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and China.
Fans can buy their tickets on etihadarena.ae and ticketmaster.ae. There are also special ticket packages with premium seats, VIP experiences, and hospitality, which can be bought at nbaexperiences.com/nba-abu-dhabi-games-2025.
