Right now, a serious and fast-growing fight is happening in the Middle East. Iran's top leader warned the U.S., and Israel attacked 40 places in different areas. Both sides are taking strong actions and saying serious things. People all over the world are watching closely and are worried about what might happen next.
Iran’s most powerful leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, gave a clear warning to the U.S. He told the U.S. not to help Israel or get involved in the fighting. In a speech on TV, Khamenei said, “The U.S. should not make a mistake. If it joins the fight, Iran will fight back hard.”
Iran is worried because the U.S. has already sent warships close to the area to support Israel. Iran sees this as a big threat.
At the same time, Israel said its military attacked at least 40 places recently. These attacks happened in Gaza, southern Lebanon, and Syria. Israel said the targets were buildings and weapons used by Hamas, Hezbollah, and groups supported by Iran.
An Israeli army official said, “We are protecting ourselves. These attacks are to stop enemies who want to hurt us.”
Some of the places hit were near where people live, and this has raised concerns. Some reports say that many people were hurt or killed, but the exact numbers are still not clear.
This fight is not just between Israel and Iran. Iran supports many other armed groups in places like Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq. These groups help Iran without being part of its official army. Some of these groups are now attacking Israel too.
Israel says Iran is helping these groups to bring weapons close to Israel’s borders. That’s why Israel is attacking them before they get too strong.
Iran says it’s not directly helping with the attacks, but it does support what these groups are doing and calls it “resistance” against Israel.
The world is very worried. The United Nations asked both Iran and Israel to calm down and stop fighting. Leaders in the European Union are planning a big meeting to talk about how to stop the war from getting worse. Countries like China and Russia are also telling the West to stay out of it.
The U.S. says it stands with Israel but wants to avoid getting into the fight itself. Still, the U.S. is doing things like sending ships and stopping drones coming from Iran’s side, which makes it hard to stay completely out of the conflict.
Inside Iran, Khamenei’s speech is trying to bring the people together. Iran has many problems, including economic ones, and the government might use this conflict to gain support.
In Israel, the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is also facing pressure. Some people want stronger attacks, while others say to be careful. Israel’s attacks may be a way to stop more violence before it starts.
Right now, it’s hard to say what will happen. As Iran’s leader warns the U.S. and Israel keeps attacking, things could get worse. If just one more big attack happens—like if the U.S. is hit or many Israelis die—it could cause a much bigger war.
Some countries like Qatar and Oman are trying to help by talking to both sides. But it’s not easy. Iran and the U.S. have not trusted each other for many years.
In the end, the next few weeks are very important. Everyone is hoping for peace, but preparing for the possibility of more fighting.
