Saudi Arabia’s Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan joined a meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group's Board of Governors in Madinah. The event took place at the King Salman International Convention Center and focused on planning the bank's future work for the years 2026 to 2035.

Minister Al-Jadaan spoke about the importance of the meeting in setting clear goals for the bank’s role in helping member countries grow and develop. He said the bank should focus on projects that improve people’s lives and bring real changes to their communities.
He highlighted Saudi Arabia’s strong support for the bank since it started, saying the Kingdom is committed to helping other Islamic countries work together and grow stronger.
The minister also talked about what the bank should focus on in the future. He said the bank needs to work more efficiently, make sure its work is transparent, and use its resources wisely. He stressed that the bank should focus on projects that truly help people and meet the needs of its member countries.
Al-Jadaan promised that Saudi Arabia will continue to support the bank and its efforts to help member countries achieve their goals. He said working together and sharing ideas is important for creating a better future for all the member nations.
The meeting was a step forward in helping the Islamic Development Bank Group plan its future and continue its work in supporting Islamic countries in their development.
