Egypt, Uzbekistan Sign 4 Agreements to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

These agreements were made at the Egyptian-Uzbek Joint Committee meeting, which took place after 15 years. Rania Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister of Planning, and officials from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Ecology were present. The goal is to help both countries work together and grow stronger.

One agreement is between Ain Shams University in Egypt and Tashkent State University in Uzbekistan. This will help the two universities share knowledge and work on research together.

Another deal was signed between Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities and the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. This will help protect and learn about the history and culture of both countries.

A third agreement was made between the Samarkand region in Uzbekistan and Alexandria in Egypt to improve trade and cultural exchanges.

Finally, both countries agreed to cooperate in areas such as trade, health, education, energy, tourism, and transport. This shows that Egypt and Uzbekistan are committed to working together and supporting each other in important areas.
