Dubai has opened registrations for the sixth cohort of the Dubai Future Experts Program (DEEP), an initiative led by the Dubai Future Foundation to strengthen foresight skills in the public sector.
The program, developed in partnership with The Executive Council of Dubai, aims to prepare government professionals to anticipate future challenges and design innovative solutions. It brings together local and international experts to build future-ready leadership within government institutions.
Since its launch, DEEP has delivered 133 projects and trained 99 experts from 45 government entities, reinforcing Dubai’s global reputation as a leader in innovation and future planning.
Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO and COO of Dubai Future Foundation, said that Dubai’s progress is driven by a strong forward-looking mindset. He highlighted that initiatives like DEEP play a key role in empowering national talent and building a culture of future readiness across government sectors.
The sixth cohort will run for six months and will include two levels:
Certified Foresight Practitioner: Focuses on building core foresight skills through training modules, practical exercises, lectures, and field visits.
Certified Foresight Ambassador: Focuses on applying these skills to real-world challenges through project-based work, mentorship, and collaboration.
Participants in the second level will work on projects that address key challenges or opportunities relevant to their organization, sector, or Dubai as a whole.
Graduates of the program will join the DEEP alumni network, which provides access to events, global foresight communities, and opportunities to contribute as speakers or experts in future initiatives.
The program is open to Emirati employees working in government and semi-government entities in Dubai, especially those in middle and senior management roles. Applications are open until April 17, 2026.
