Cathay Pacific Airways has announced an extension of its flight suspension to and from Dubai until April 30, 2026, due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
The airline said the decision has been taken keeping the safety of passengers and staff as the top priority. All flights between Dubai and Hong Kong have been cancelled up to and including the stated date.
Passengers affected by the cancellations are advised to check the latest status of their bookings through the “Manage Booking” section on the airline’s official website.
Under a special ticket waiver policy, customers who had booked travel between Hong Kong and Dubai up to May 31, 2026, are being offered flexible options. They can rebook their flights, change routes, or request a full refund without paying any extra charges.
The airline also clarified that passengers who made bookings through travel agents or third-party platforms should contact their respective service providers for assistance. Those who booked directly via Cathay Pacific’s website, mobile app, or customer care can manage changes or refunds online.
Cathay Pacific stated that it is closely monitoring the situation and may make further changes if required. Passengers planning to travel after April 30 are advised to regularly check for updates and flight schedules on the airline’s official website.
