The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has announced the official holiday schedule for Eid Al Adha in 2025.
All government offices, departments, and institutions across Dubai will be closed for the holiday from Thursday, June 5, until Sunday, June 8, 2025. This period covers the days from Arafat Day to the end of Eid Al Adha celebrations.
Work will start again as usual on Monday, June 9, 2025.
However, some government departments and institutions where employees work in shifts or provide essential public services will not have the holiday break. These places will organize their own work schedules to ensure that important services continue without interruption.

On this special occasion, the DGHR sends warm congratulations and best wishes to the President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; the Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; the other leaders of the UAE; and all the people living in the country.
The announcement is a reminder for everyone to prepare for the holiday and enjoy the celebrations responsibly.
