Deepika Padukone continues her reign as a global fashion icon, delivering another breathtaking style moment in her latest Harper’s Bazaar feature. The actor appears on the magazine’s cover in a striking black Louis Vuitton ensemble from the brand’s Cruise 2026 Couture collection, paired with elegant Cartier jewellery.
Her outfit featured an oversized black velvet full-sleeve top with a front overlay and an extended cloth panel reaching the ankle. Silver frills adorned the neckline and borders, creating a dramatic chandelier-like effect. The bottom included a hooded skirt with a half balloon-frill design, adding texture and couture flair. She completed the look with gelled open hair, Cartier accessories, and black heels.
In her interview, Deepika reflected on her early years in modelling, recalling her memorable walk for Wendell Rodricks in a flowing white dress before stepping into films. She revealed that although producers approached her early on, she wasn’t ready to transition immediately.
She shared, “I had just started in this world of glamour and show business, and I felt like I needed to settle a little before transitioning… The timing of Om Shanti Om felt right.”
Deepika’s past collaborations with Louis Vuitton have also produced standout fashion moments—from her chic box shirt and frill skirt look at a global event to her iconic oversized coat paired with a white hat, bold lips, and leather gloves.
With every appearance, Deepika Padukone reaffirms her status as a modern fashion trailblazer, blending couture elements with effortless elegance.
