Bellingham Leads Real Madrid to Late Win Over Valencia After Vinicius Red

Jude Bellingham helped Real Madrid win 2-1 against Valencia on Friday. His last-minute goal made sure they went to the top of the La Liga table. Bellingham had missed a penalty earlier in the match, but he made up for it by scoring the winning goal.

The match started with Valencia playing very well. They scored first when Hugo Duro put the ball in the net after a great save by Real Madrid’s goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois. The ball bounced back to Duro, and he easily scored into an empty net.

In the second half, Real Madrid got a chance to score from a penalty. Kylian Mbappe was fouled by a Valencia player. Bellingham took the penalty, but he hit the post, and Real Madrid stayed behind.

Things got worse for Real Madrid when Vinicius Junior was shown a red card. After being tackled, he pushed Valencia’s goalkeeper, Stole Dimitrievski, in the neck. Real Madrid was now playing with only 10 players. But they kept fighting.

In the 85th minute, Real Madrid tied the game. Bellingham passed the ball to Luka Modric, who scored to make it 1-1.

Then, in the last minute of the match, Bellingham scored again. He took advantage of a mistake by Valencia and scored the winning goal, making it 2-1 for Real Madrid.

This was Bellingham’s sixth goal in his last seven games. After the game, coach Carlo Ancelotti praised him for playing well, even after missing the penalty.

Vinicius, who got the red card, apologized to his teammates on social media. He thanked them for helping the team win.

Valencia almost tied the game in the last seconds, but a shot from Luis Rioja hit the post.

With this win, Real Madrid moved two points ahead of Atletico Madrid at the top of the table. But Real Madrid has played more games than Atletico.
