The Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority will take part in the 18th Tan-Tan Moussem in Morocco. This special event will happen from May 14 to May 18, 2025. It is held under the theme Tan-Tan Moussem: A Living Testament to the Universality of Nomadic Culture. The event is supported by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
At the festival, the UAE will have its own pavilion. The Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, together with other groups that protect heritage, will show Emirati culture. They will work with the UAE Camel Racing Federation to show traditional events, like camel racing, to give visitors a true taste of the UAE’s Bedouin heritage.

The UAE pavilion will have many exciting activities. There will be folk music performances, live demonstrations of old crafts, and Emirati food. There will also be photo exhibitions, traditional games, and poetry nights. Famous artists from the UAE will also perform at the pavilion.
The Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority hopes to teach people about Emirati traditions and culture. They want to show how important it is to preserve these traditions for the future. By taking part in the event, the UAE also wants to strengthen its relationship with Morocco and show how much both countries have in common.
The Tan-Tan Moussem festival is very important because it has been recognized by UNESCO. It was added to the list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2008. The festival celebrates the nomadic way of life, which is all about moving and being close to nature. The event also helps people from different cultures share their traditions and learn from each other.
