These events will not only celebrate the heritage of falconry but also strengthen its role as a symbol of Emirati identity and culture.
According to the club’s announcement, the new season will feature a mix of exciting competitions, ranging from traditional falconry races to specialized events designed to honor both professional falconers and newcomers to the sport.

Masters Games Championship 2026
As part of the Abu Dhabi Masters Games 2026, the Falconers Club will host the Masters Games Championship on 7th and 8th February 2026, in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. This reflects the growing recognition of falconry not just as a sport but as a cultural activity that deserves a global platform.
Regional Competitions
Both events will give local falconers a chance to showcase their skills and traditions in their own regions, helping to keep the heritage alive across the emirate.
Promoting National Identity
The Abu Dhabi Falconers Club emphasized that these nine championships are not only sporting events but also cultural celebrations. Falconry has been part of Emirati history for centuries, representing patience, courage, and the deep connection between humans and nature. By organizing these events, the club aims to pass down this tradition to younger generations and strengthen the sense of national pride.
The coming season promises months of excitement, drawing attention from local and international audiences. From the heritage-rich President’s Cup to the vibrant Sheikh Zayed Festival and the innovative Masters Games, every competition will highlight the UAE’s dedication to preserving falconry while presenting it in modern, organized, and world-class settings.
Falconers, families, and fans of heritage sports can look forward to a season filled with competition, tradition, and cultural pride, making 2025–2026 one of the most memorable seasons in Abu Dhabi’s falconry history.
