Syria’s Foreign Minister, Asaad Hassan Al-Shibani, came to Riyadh for an important meeting. He was joined by foreign ministers from countries like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, and Iraq. This was the first meeting about Syria since President Bashar al-Assad was removed last month.

The meeting was held on Sunday in Riyadh, and it was attended by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Foreign Minister. There were also envoys from the United Kingdom and the United States, along with other top leaders from Arab and Western countries.
During the meeting, Syria’s new government asked for the removal of sanctions. They believe that these sanctions are stopping the country from recovering and rebuilding after years of war. The meeting was focused on finding ways to help Syria get back on its feet and improve its economy.
This meeting showed that leaders from both Arab and Western countries want to work together to solve Syria’s problems. The goal is to help Syria heal from the damage caused by the war and make sure the country can join the international community again.
The discussions were an important step in helping Syria rebuild and recover, and they showed how important it is for countries to cooperate to fix the challenges Syria faces.
