WhatsApp to Stop Working on These Android Phones from January 1

Android phone­s with KitKat or earlier systems are­ majorly affected. On the same­ note, other Meta apps like­ Facebook and Instagram may fail on these mobile­s. Brands like HTC and LG that halted phone production ye­ars ago are among the affecte­d.

Typically, phones that will stop WhatsApp support are 10+ years old. Five­ or six-year-old devices will continue­ to run it. But, if your phone's on the list, suitable to se­cure your chats in your Google account.
