Rashmika Mandanna celebrated her 29th birthday on April 5 in the beautiful country of Oman. She shared a bunch of cheerful photos from her trip on Instagram. In some pictures, she’s enjoying a meal by the swimming pool. In others, she’s goofing around and taking fun selfies at the beach.
Just a day later, actor Vijay Deverakonda posted his own vacation pictures. And guess what? The place in his photos looked very similar to where Rashmika was. That’s when fans started to wonder—were they in Oman together?
In one of Vijay’s pictures, he’s standing barefoot on the sand with the sea in the background, wearing a loose white outfit. In another photo, he’s seen riding a horse. He also posted a picture where he’s staring at the sunset. All of these gave major beach vacation vibes. His caption read, “Riding horses and living Barefeet.”
Fans quickly noticed the matching settings and started commenting things like, “Rashmika birthday celebrations?” making it clear they think the two stars were on the same trip.
Rumors about Rashmika and Vijay being in a relationship started back in January 2023 when people suspected they went on a vacation to the Maldives together. Since then, fans have kept a close eye on their posts.
In a past interview with We Are Yuvaa, Rashmika opened up about her bond with Vijay. She said, “Viju and I sort of grew up together. So anything I do in my life right now, he has a contribution to it. I take his advice in anything I do, I need his opinion... He has supported me personally more than anyone else in my entire life. So, I feel he's someone I really, really respect.”
On the work front, Rashmika’s latest film Sikandar was released during Eid and is now running in theatres. Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in The Family Star.
Whether they were in Oman together or not, one thing’s clear—their friendship (or maybe more) continues to keep fans talking.
