President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met today with His Excellency Fuad Mohammed Hussein, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq. The meeting took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.
During the visit, the Iraqi Foreign Minister gave President Sheikh Mohamed an official invitation from the President of Iraq, Dr Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, to attend the upcoming Arab Summit, which will be held in Baghdad on May 17.
Both leaders had a friendly discussion about the relationship between the UAE and Iraq. They talked about how the two countries can work together more closely in ways that benefit both their people. They also spoke about the latest happenings in the region and around the world.

President Sheikh Mohamed and the Iraqi Minister agreed that it is very important to support peace, stability, and teamwork in the region so that everyone can live better and safer lives.
Sheikh Mohamed said that the UAE and Iraq share a strong bond. He wished Iraq and its people a future filled with peace, growth, and success.
