Shah Rukh Khan recently attended a grand event in Mumbai, where he unveiled a new tower named Shahrukhz. The celebration turned vibrant the moment he stepped on stage, welcomed warmly by his longtime friend and collaborator Farah Khan. Their reunion instantly set the tone for a lively and memorable evening.
As Shah Rukh walked in, he greeted Farah with a gentle kiss on the cheek, prompting loud cheers from the crowd. In her humorous style, Farah teased the audience by saying, “I know you all are jealous, so Shah Rukh once more,” leading him to repeat the gesture. The sweet moment became one of the night’s most talked-about highlights.
The excitement grew when the two performed the iconic steps from the song Chaiyya Chaiyya, a number originally choreographed by Farah and still loved worldwide. Their effortless chemistry and SRK’s energetic movements won over the audience once again. Clips from the event quickly spread online, with fans praising the superstar’s unmatched energy. Comments like “Hard to believe he’s 60” and “His energy is unmatched” flooded social media. Many also admired Farah’s smooth execution of the choreography and SRK’s charismatic presence, calling him “so handsome.”
The newly launched Shahrukhz Danube tower is a Dubai-based, 56-storey development featuring premium office spaces across 450 sq ft. Rizwan Sajan, the founder and chairman of Danube, was also present at the ceremony. Shah Rukh expressed deep gratitude for the honour, saying his mother would have been proud to see a building named after him. He also shared an emotional note about showing the tower to his children, telling them, “Papa ka naam likha hai, papa ki building hai.”
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently immersed in the shooting of his next big film, King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film features a strong ensemble cast, including Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Saurabh Shukla. The first-look poster, showcasing SRK in a rugged mass-action avatar, created an immediate buzz online, raising excitement for the film’s release.
