Michigan Coach Sherrone Moore Arrested Following Break-In Incident

Sherrone Moore, formerly at the helm of the Michigan Wolverines, was let go on December 10 amidst allegations of an inappropriate relationship with staff. Soon after his dismissal, he found himself in legal trouble for allegedly entering the home of Paige Shiver, his former executive assistant.

According to reports, Moore accessed the home through an unlocked door without consent. During this incident, a verbal dispute occurred, where he allegedly brandished two butter knives and a pair of scissors, making self-harm threats. Authorities have confirmed that he was not armed.

Currently, Moore is facing serious charges, including third-degree home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering. He attended his arraignment, subsequently being released on a $25,000 bail. Michigan University has stated that Shiver remains in her role and has not faced any disciplinary measures.

Sources suggest that Moore and Shiver had a relationship spanning several years, which concluded on the day of his firing.
