His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a series of significant meetings with foreign ministers attending the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 79) in New York. These discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and exploring new partnerships across various sectors, including economic, commercial, cultural, educational, health, agricultural, technology, artificial intelligence, food security, renewable energy, and climate.
During the meetings, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the UAE's dedication to expanding global partnerships, aiming to foster sustainable growth and prosperity while addressing the aspirations of individuals for a future filled with opportunities for development and well-being.
Among the notable ministers in attendance were Maria Malmer Stenergard, Sweden's Minister for Foreign Affairs; Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, India's Minister of External Affairs; Bakhtiyor Saidov, Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs; Cho Tae-yul, South Korea's Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Amery Browne, Trinidad and Tobago's Minister of Foreign Affairs. The conversations included a wide range of topics on the UNGA 79 agenda, with a focus on enhancing multilateral cooperation to tackle global challenges effectively.

Sheikh Abdullah and the foreign ministers also delved into pressing regional and international issues, particularly the situation in the Middle East and the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. The discussions aimed to promote international peace and security, highlighting the necessity of collaborative efforts in addressing these complex challenges.
The meetings were attended by key UAE officials, including Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan; Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs; Omran Sharaf, Assistant Foreign Minister of Advanced Sciences and Technology; and Ambassador Mohamed Abushahab, the UAE's Permanent Representative to the UN.
