The United Arab Emirates is preparing to celebrate the 54th Eid Al Etihad (Union Day), an occasion that honors more than five decades of growth, unity, and national achievement. The celebration marks the UAE’s remarkable journey as a unified nation that has consistently demonstrated leadership, resilience, and ambition on local, regional, and global fronts.
As the Emirates continue advancing toward a bright and innovative future, this year’s Union Day reflects the collective pride and deep-rooted devotion of the nation’s people. The unity of the seven emirates stands as a model of progress, cultural heritage, and shared vision.
Sharjah Sets Stage for Exceptional National Festivities
To commemorate this historic anniversary, the Emirate of Sharjah has curated an extensive program of events running from November 19 to December 2, 2025. This year’s celebrations will bring together traditional arts, heritage showcases, community programming, and family activities hosted across Sharjah’s most iconic locations.
The events aim to highlight the UAE’s cultural identity while reinforcing the principles of unity, diversity, and belonging. With contributions from residents, citizens, youth groups, artisans, and people of determination, Sharjah’s celebrations embrace inclusivity and community spirit.
On this occasion, H.E. Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Committee for the 54th Eid Al Etihad Celebrations, extended congratulations to the UAE leadership—including His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister; His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah; and all Their Highnesses, Rulers, Crown Princes, and Deputy Rulers—for their unwavering commitment to progress and national unity.

Al Siyouh Family Park – Opening Ceremony
The official opening on November 19 at 5 PM will feature:

Special Musical Event in Khorfakkan
A grand musical night featuring Hussain Al Jassmi and Fouad Abdelwahad will take place on November 29, 2025 at Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, offering an evening of patriotic melodies and cultural brilliance.
Regional Celebrations Across Sharjah
Al Batayeh (Nov 27–29)
Highlights include parades, folk arts, heritage stalls, and the touring “Union Bus” distributing gifts and flags.
Al Dhaid (Nov 26–30)
A grand parade, heritage markets, and cultural performances will animate the historic Al Dhaid Fort.
Al Hamriyah (Nov 20–22)
Heritage Village will host folk songs, sports events, craft demonstrations, and classic car exhibitions.
Kalba (Starting Nov 22)
The celebrations include the annual operetta, parades, fireworks displays, and water-sports competitions.
Wadi Al Helo (Nov 23)
Events include poetry recitations, student shows, and gift distributions in a scenic heritage setting.
Khorfakkan (Nov 21)
Featuring the operetta “Pulse of the Nation”, folk shows, youth gatherings, and a robotics exhibition.
Dibba Al Hisn (Nov 22)
Celebrations include a national parade, cultural performances, poetry, and fireworks.
Al Khrous Suburb (Nov 28)
Parades with school and government participation, along with cultural shows and heritage activations.
Mleiha (Nov 20–21)
Heritage village celebrations include military bands, folk dances, children’s recycling workshops, poetry, and cultural programs in a desert setting.
Mughaider Suburb (Nov 21–22)
Al Rifa’a Park will host a bicycle parade, productive family stalls, police K9 shows, and cultural performances.
Sharjah Celebrates the Nation’s Journey
Sharjah’s 54th Eid Al Etihad celebrations reflect the values of loyalty, unity, and patriotism that bind the UAE community together. Aligned with the “Year of Community”, the festivities encourage cultural connection, social cohesion, and intergenerational understanding.
