Sean "Diddy" Combs, 54, faces new lawsuits alleging sexual assault and drugging minors. Two lawsuits join a growing list of allegations from over 150 accusers, represented by attorney Anthony Buzbee.
A lawsuit filed on behalf of a now-adult male claims Combs assaulted him in a New York City hotel room in 2005. The then-10-year-old boy, an aspiring actor and rapper, had traveled with his parents from California for music industry meetings. An associate of Combs allegedly gave the child a drug-laced soft drink during an audition. Combs then forced the child to perform oral sex before he lost consciousness, threatening to harm his parents if he spoke out.

A second lawsuit alleges Combs forced a 17-year-old male contestant on the reality TV show Making the Band to perform oral sex with him and a bodyguard during a three-day audition in 2008. Combs framed this as a "test" of the teenager's commitment to succeeding in the music industry. When the teenager expressed concerns, he was eliminated from the competition and unable to return to the music industry for seven years.
Combs' lawyers deny the allegations, accusing attorney Anthony Buzbee of seeking publicity. In a statement, they expressed confidence in the judicial process, asserting that Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone.
Combs is currently jailed after pleading not guilty to federal sex trafficking charges. His trial is scheduled for May 5, 2025. The new lawsuits were filed under New York City's Victims of Gender Motivated Violence Protection Act, allowing survivors to bring lawsuits beyond the statute of limitations.
Attorney Anthony Buzbee represents over 150 alleged victims and has filed at least 17 lawsuits against Combs. Combs' legal team maintains that the truth will prevail in court, and he will be cleared of all charges.
