Millions of worshippers visit the Grand Mosque in Mecca during the holy month of Ramadan to offer prayers and perform religious rituals. To support families, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has set up special childcare centers. These centers will take care of young children while their parents focus on their worship.
These centers are open 24 hours a day and are designed for children aged 1.5 to 9 years. They provide a safe and comfortable space where kids can play, learn, and grow. The aim is to create an environment where children can engage in meaningful activities while their families perform religious duties.

The program includes Quran lessons, storytelling, and creative activities suited to different age groups. The goal is to help children learn in a fun and engaging way while also understanding the importance of values such as kindness and service.
A team of experts in child development manages the centers to ensure that children receive proper care. Along with learning activities, the centers also provide meals, areas to watch educational videos, and spaces for rest and sleep.
This initiative is meant to make it easier for families to visit the Grand Mosque during Ramadan while ensuring their children are in a secure and nurturing environment.
