Saudi Arabia Launches Tasreeh for Hajj Entry Permits

Post by: Layla Badr

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior, along with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), has started a new digital platform named “Tasreeh”. This platform is made to help people get official permits to enter Mecca and other holy sites during Hajj.

Tasreeh is for both local and international pilgrims. It makes sure that only those who are allowed can enter Mecca during the Hajj season. The platform works closely with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah through the Nusuk platform, so everything is well-connected and organized.

Besides pilgrims, the Tasreeh platform also helps workers, volunteers, and the vehicles they use to get their entry permits. All these permits can be seen and checked using the Tawakkalna app, which makes the process easier and more secure for everyone.

The platform was made by SDAIA, together with many other government departments. It helps all these groups work together better, follow the same rules, and give good services to the pilgrims. Tasreeh is also part of the Doyof Al Rahman Programme, which is one of the main goals of Saudi Vision 2030—a plan to make Saudi Arabia better in many ways.

One of the smart features of Tasreeh is that it is connected to another app called Maidan. This app lets security officers at Mecca’s entry points read and check permits automatically. This means people can enter faster and more safely.

Overall, the Tasreeh platform is a big step forward in using technology to make Hajj smoother, more organized, and safer for everyone involved.
