Dubai: Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced a four-day holiday for Eid Al Fitr for employees working in the private and non-profit sectors. This holiday marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan and allows employees to celebrate the occasion with their families.
The holiday will begin on Sunday, March 30, and will last for four days, ending on Wednesday, April 2. Work will resume on Thursday, April 3. This extended break gives employees a chance to spend quality time with loved ones and take part in Eid festivities.

The ministry has also reminded employers to follow the rules mentioned in paragraph 2 of Article 24 of the executive regulations of the Labour Law. These rules ensure that employees receive their rightful holiday benefits and that the break is observed properly.
Eid Al Fitr is one of the most important celebrations in the Islamic calendar, marking the end of a month of fasting and prayer. With this announcement, Saudi Arabia aims to ensure that employees have the opportunity to enjoy the holiday in a meaningful way.
